Make Art Not Litter

My entry for the Batsford Prize 2016, Reuse, Recycle, Reclaim

Make Art Not Litter greeting card range encourages people to create artwork using a technique they might not have tried before as well as reusing easily accessible plastic waste. The cards highlight the dangers plastic litter can be to many animals and their habitats.

Inside each card are instructions on how to either latch hook or weave plastic to create other designs. This makes them both a card and a present. The paper used is made from 100% recycled paper and elephant dung which gives it an interesting texture and colour. The plastic cellophane is biodegradable corn starch, making it eco-friendly.
